Rashami Desai Wiki: Shivani Desai is a well-known Indian television actress who goes by the stage name Rashami Desai. Her career has been a success for nearly 20 years. Born in 1986 in Nagaon, Assam, to a Gujarati family, Desai did her schooling and undergrad in Mumbai and pursued a diploma in tours and travels from Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics.

Desai has established herself as one of the most popular and highest-paid actresses on television. Her Hindi television debut was with Ravan (2006). Her portrayal of Tapasya Thakur in Colors TV’s long-running soap opera Uttaran (2009–2014) earned her massive popularity and numerous awards, including two Indian Television Academy Awards and Gold Awards.
